Updated information on the Peach Jam

Team Penny has been sneaking by the last two games, but their run in the Peach Jam has ended with an 102-80 loss to Each1Teach1. Give Team Penny a round of applause. They only had a total of eight players on the roster. Other guys were hurt so, what else could have possibly been done? Nothing at all.

Team Penny went through the entire tournament without a big man. There two best players played at the guard and forward position. K.J. and Dedric Lawson tried their best to keep the team in it.

K.J. finished the game with 25 points, 15 rebounds, and five blocks. Dedric added 17 points and seven rebounds. Let’s say if they still had Skal Labissiere on their roster, would the outcome been different? Would they have lost by less than 10 points? I seriously doubt it.

With Labissiere, it would have been more competitive, but Team Penny would have still lost the game. K.J. and Dedric are very talented. These guys showed a lot of heart. Maybe Pastner needs to recruit them hard.

In the near future, it will be interesting to see if Pastner goes after either brother. Memphis needs players who will go all out to win. As of right now, they are not the focus for Pastner. Labissiere is the focus and it could possibly come down between Memphis and Kentucky or should I say ‘Pastner vs. Calipari?’

I am behind Pastner 100% and I honestly do believe that we have a chance of landing the No. 6 ranked junior into a blue and gray uniform. As news break on Labissiere’s recruitment, best believe I will keep Tiger Nation informed.

I received part of this information from the Commercial Appeal.
